The latest Counter-Strike 2 patch has redesigned Vertigo and added skin rentals

The shooter Counter-Strike 2 has received a significant update from Valve that adds the option to rent skins from cases for a week, modifies the economy, and alters the maps.

The update, which has a volume of roughly 4 GB, was made available late on May 24.

  • M4A4 price reduced from $3100 to $3000

  • Changed the appearance of the explosion and flame of an incendiary grenade

  • Team reward for planting a bomb is now $600 instead of $800

  • Console commands “switchhandsleft” and “switchhandsright” to change hands

  • Point A on the Vertigo map has been redesigned – a passage has appeared on the side of the bomb site, which connects the point with the exit to nine; there was an additional passage to A from the mid side and other changes

  • Renting Kilowatt case skins is available after purchasing the key and opening the container; 17 items are available for rent, but no knives
