The sequel to Five Nights at Freddy’s was postponed until December 2025, Telephone Black 2 will be released in the fall of the same year

Universal Pictures has recently announced the updated release schedule for its highly anticipated upcoming premieres. Several anticipated films were delayed. Specifically, the release date for the sequel to Five Nights at Freddy’s was pushed back from autumn to December 5, 2025.

In addition, Scott Derrickson’s highly anticipated sequel “Black Phone” has secured a new premiere date. Instead of its original release on June 27, the film will now hit theaters on October 17, 2025. The release date for the sequel to the M3GAN horror film has been rescheduled from May 16 to June 27, 2025.

The film adaptation of the game Five Nights at Freddy’s hit theaters in late October 2023 and achieved remarkable success, grossing an impressive $291 million with a budget of $20 million. The film directed by Emma Tammy features the talented actors Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard.

The cast of the sequel to Phone Black includes Ethan Hawke, Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Jeremy Davis, and Miguel Mora. The original was inspired by the story of the same name by Joe Hill, who happens to be the son of Stephen King.

The highly anticipated “Black Phone” was launched globally on June 24, 2022. Despite its modest budget of $16-18 million, the film achieved a remarkable box office success, grossing over $100 million.
