The author of the YouTube channel skurtyyskirts showcased their expertise by demonstrating a remaster of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell from 2002, utilizing the cutting-edge RTX Remix Path Tracing technology. The project is still in the development stage, being handled with expertise.

In the video, you can see a comparison of the graphics before and after enabling tracing. The lighting in the game has significantly improved, although the character model seems to have an excessive amount of glare. The modder expertly enhanced the textures using the PBRify_Upscaler tool.

Currently, this is an initial iteration of the remaster, but the enthusiast plans to enhance it even more.

Just a friendly reminder that a trailer for the remaster of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic was recently released, featuring the use of RTX Remix. There have been rumors circulating that Ubisoft plans to unveil a remake of Splinter Cell during an upcoming summer presentation.
