There is a new leak suggesting that the original Red Dead Redemption, one of Rockstar Games’ most successful titles, might be making its way to both PS Plus and Microsoft’s subscription service Xbox Game Pass.
According to Reddit user u/Timtendo12, there is a possibility that RDR could be making its way to Xbox Game Pass and PS Plus. This speculation arises from the discovery of a hidden code string on the game’s website that references these services. The hidden code on the game’s website states: “Accessible for PlayStation Plus Premium on Nintendo Switch, PS3, PS4, and PS5, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Series X|S.”

Red Dead Redemption was initially released in 2010 and later made available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in 2023. You can buy the game on the platforms where it’s available, or you have the option to add it to your account through a GTA + subscription, but that’s only possible on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
However, if the claim is accurate, individuals who have Xbox Game Pass and PS Plus memberships will have the opportunity to enjoy the initial installment of the series without any extra charges. The latest version will most likely be the one added to subscription services.
