Depending on who you ask, Godzilla: Minus One was either the best or one of the best movies of 2023. Though it wasn’t everywhere you could view it, you can now watch it digitally and on Netflix if you missed the theatrical release.
On Friday, users from all over the world started reporting that the movie had appeared on the platform. The Godzilla emblem in traditional Netflix red was shared in a post from the movie’s official X account as a way to celebrate. There is a dubbed version in addition to the original theatrical version with Japanese audio and subtitles. A number of services offer the digital version for sale or renting.
Godzilla: Minus One was far more of a sensation when it came out in December of last year than anyone had anticipated. Apart from receiving positive reviews, he made great money for Japanese movies and took home the Oscar for Best Visual Effects.
