BioWare showed off the first video for Dragon Age: The Veilguard at Xbox Showcase. The trailer showed off the player’s friends, gave hints of some well-known names, and announced that the game will come out in the fall of 2024.
The almost two-minute movie shows off a few of the characters that players will be able to travel with in the new Dragon Age. The guard Davrin, the necromancer Embrich, the detective Neve, the mage killer Lukanis, and the dragon hunter Taash are some of them. Benara is a veil jumper who jumps out of the portal but is sucked back in.
BioWare said before that Dragon Age: The Veilguard would be about seven friends, which is why the name of the game was changed. It looks like the trailer shows all of the partners.
Also, the movie shows two faces that Varric and Lace Harding, who have been fans of the show for a long time. Both of them show trailers, which says a lot about how important they are to the game. Hawke’s friend Varric was first seen in Dragon Age II, and Harding first showed up in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
The video shows when the game will be out: fall 2024. Since the last game came out almost 10 years ago, fans have been waiting for this one for a very long time. On June 11, there will be a demo of Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
