The conglomerate Embracer Group revealed the outcomes of a significant restructuring that took place all year long in its quarterly report. Over the previous 12 months, the business said it had canceled 80 games and laid off 4,532 staff.

12,069 individuals were employed at Embracer Group as of March 31, 2024. There were 16,601 workers in the previous year. According to the corporation, 1,583 people were let go, with the remaining people being Saber Interactive personnel who were later acquired by Beacon Interactive.

The Embracer Group as a whole suffered when Gearbox Software was sold to Take-Two Interactive.

The conglomerate Embracer Group declared at the end of April that it would split into three separate businesses by the end of 2025. Asmodee Group, Coffee Stain & Friends, and Middle-earth Enterprises & Friends will be the three divisions of the publisher.
