Dead Cells: Immortalis trailer – first look at the animated series

The full teaser for the highly anticipated animated series based on the popular game Dead Cells has surfaced, and it appears that the designers have implemented some unexpected alterations. The Beheaded Man appears to be able to speak, to start with.

The French streaming service Animation Digital Network and Bobbypills company, which is well-known for the animated game trailers, are developing Dead Cells: Immortalis. The series’ June 19 release date was revealed along with the trailer. According to Dead Cells creator Motion Twin, it will debut in French with English subtitles and have an English release later this year.

Compared to the teaser that was released last year when the series was first announced, the trailer features a new animation style. As previously mentioned, Bobby is transformed into the eponymous figure, also known as “The Chosen One” in the program, who has a purple flame for a head. The Guardian of Truth, Laurie Esposito, is a figure who goes with him. Expect plenty of action, but don’t expect the series to be overly serious either, since the teaser also demonstrates a broad sense of humor.
