While a gameplay trailer for College Football 25 has not yet been released by EA, the publisher has stated that a “full reveal” is scheduled for tomorrow, May 17.
The Standard Edition cover of College Football 25 includes Quinn Ewers of Texas, Travis Hunter of Colorado, and Donovan Edwards of Michigan, the wide receiver. This was already confirmed by leaks. The same three athletes are at the center of the Deluxe Edition cover, with players from several universities in the background, including quarterbacks Carson Beck of Georgia, Quinshon Judkins of Ohio State, and Jalen Milroe of Alabama.

College Football 25 Standard and Deluxe Edition Covers …
There hasn’t been much information on the upcoming college football video game until today’s official reveal. Along with the Deluxe Edition cover, a gameplay screenshot showing Notre Dame Fighting Irish football players coming out of the tunnel and onto the field was leaked on the PlayStation Store last week.
A development concept featuring players from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team tapping the “Play Like a Champion Today” sign before entering the tunnel was unveiled by EA in an official teaser trailer released in February.
For College Football 25, EA Sports gave ESPN some additional information after releasing the teaser announcement at the beginning of February. This includes reaffirming that the Road to Glory and Dynasty game modes will return, as well as the amount of money that players who choose to opt-in will receive for using their likeness in the game. Players who choose not to opt-in will not be able to create themselves as playable characters. All 134 FBS football programs will be included.
The long road to make the next College Football video game
While it had initially intended to avoid using any genuine names or likenesses of the student-athletes, EA formally confirmed that it would be producing another college football game in 2021. Following the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold student-athletes’ right to profit from the use of their name, image, and likeness (NIL), EA declared that real college football players would be featured in a next game.
Similar legal issues arose when EA recently released video games including NCAA football. The series faced similar challenges when it was first shelved owing to legal difficulties. The BrandR Group, a student-athlete licensing agency, sued EA, claiming that the payment received by participating student-athletes was “significantly below market value.” Eventually, the lawsuit was settled by EA.
The Standard and Deluxe Editions of College Football 25 are now available for pre-order. However, EA has announced that it will be releasing a third version called the EA Sports MVP Bundle, which comes with one copy of each of the Deluxe Editions of Madden NFL 25 and College Football 25, both of which will allow you to play the game earlier by three days.
