Activision has made an official announcement that this year’s installment of Call of Duty will be Black Ops 6. Although no specific details have been provided, the publisher has announced that the shooter presentation is scheduled for June 9, following the Xbox Games Showcase event.

They displayed a logo featuring the words Gulf War. The rumors surrounding the war in the Persian Gulf were indeed confirmed.

For those who are unaware of the transition, Black Ops 5 transformed into Black Ops Cold War. There was even a logo for Black Ops V in the Cold War files for a period of time before it was taken down.

It has been revealed that Raven Software is developing the story campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, while Treyarch is focusing on multiplayer and zombie mode. Seasoned veterans will make a triumphant comeback in story mode, including the formidable Adler from Black Ops Cold War.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is anticipated to launch in October. Upon release, the shooter will be available on Xbox Game Pass.
