Among the leaked materials, Deadlock stumbled upon a screenshot of a previous iteration of the shooter game, back when it went by the name Neon Prime. Valve’s game at that time aimed for a vibrant and lively style, reminiscent of Overwatch and Team Fortress 2. Updated: A professional touch was added with the inclusion of a gameplay video alongside the screenshot.

The screenshot showcases one of the locations, interface, and character design with expertise. It appears that during the development process, a decision was made to completely overhaul the game’s visuals, as recent images reveal a striking resemblance to Half-Life 2.

Now the project is a MOBA shooter for 12 people, set in a captivating world of fantasy steampunk. Insider Tom Henderson expertly compares the gameplay aspect to Dota 2, highlighting the unique features of the game, including the use of souls as currency.
