Capcom has released new sales figures for their “platinum” games. The data displayed on the organization’s webpage is up to date as of March 31, 2024, which signifies the conclusion of the fiscal year.

Interestingly, since its 2019 debut, Resident Evil 6 for Nintendo Switch has sold more than one million units. If Capcom chooses to port the current RE Engine series episodes to Switch 2, we won’t be shocked.

Current game indicators:

  • Monster Hunter: World – 20.10 million copies (+500 thousand copies)

  • Monster Hunter Rise – 14.70 million copies (+500 thousand copies)

  • Resident Evil 2 Remake – 13.90 million copies (+300 thousand copies)

  • Resident Evil 3 Remake – 8.7 million copies

  • Resident Evil 4 Remake – 7 million copies

  • Resident Evil 7 — 13.30 million copies (+300 thousand copies)

  • Resident Evil Village – 9.80 million copies (+500 thousand copies)

  • Resident Evil 5 – 14.6 million copies

  • Resident Evil 6 – 13.1 million copies

  • Devil May Cry 5 – 8.10 million copies (+300 thousand copies)

In its most recent financial report, Capcom revealed that operating income increased for the eleventh consecutive year and that, for the seventh consecutive year, sales of digital content resulted in record-high profits.
