Ubisoft Toronto has partnered with the developers of the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time from Ubisoft Montreal. It seems that the Canadian division will handle the technical aspect of the project with expertise.
In 2022, production of the remake was resumed with Ubisoft Montreal taking charge of developing the game. Ubisoft Montreal is renowned for their work on popular series such as Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, and Watch Dogs. At first, it’s worth mentioning that Ubisoft Mumbai and Ubisoft Pune, two Indian studios, were initially involved in the project but were later taken off.
Despite being announced in 2020, The Sands of Time Remake is yet to receive a release date.
Allow us to inform you that The Rogue Prince of Persia, a two-dimensional action roguelike developed by the creators of the renowned Dead Cells, has recently made its debut on Steam. The game garnered a significant amount of positive reviews, however, it struggled to capture the interest of gamers and ultimately experienced disappointing sales figures.
