The Division Heartland was initially revealed in 2021 as a spin-off of the popular looter shooter series. It features two modes that center around the exciting PvEvP gameplay. The game stood out due to its large player base and expertly designed shooting mechanics. It also boasted advanced features like staying mechanics, a diverse cast of playable characters, and a dynamic day/night cycle. Nevertheless, the game encountered numerous setbacks and it took years to establish a definitive release date.

The Division Heartland has been rated in Taiwan in November and has undergone significant improvements to its cinematic intro and gameplay over the years. Regrettably, despite all these advancements, the project was ultimately terminated. Ubisoft has confirmed that Massive Entertainment is hard at work on Tom Clancy’s The Division 3 and The Division Resurgence for mobile devices, making it clear that the series is far from over.
