Another in-game event with themed cosmetics and a time-limited mode has been revealed by DICE for Battlefield 2042. Future Strike, the upcoming event, is scheduled to occur from May 28 to June 11.
Depending on the map, the event will present 4v4 or 8v8 Strike Team mode to the shooter. Similar to Call of Duty’s Search and Destroy, your goal is to seize an object or eliminate the other side. The match is won by the first team to win six rounds.
Ninety seconds is all that each round lasts, and units can only use one particular specialty per group. Teams can also see the makeup of their opponent.
There are no respawns in Strike Team because the game is all on strategies and teamwork. Only after a buddy has fallen and is waiting for the countdown to expire can he be picked up. An OV-P drone can resurrect him after he dies in order to conduct reconnaissance.
Eleven maps—including Stadium, Rupture, Sanctuary, Discovery, and others—will support Strike Team mode.
Both generational consoles and PCs can run Battlefield 2042. The shooter’s seventh season was its final one. In the past, the DFR Strife machine gun, the XFAD-4 Draugr stealth aircraft, and the “Stadium” map were added to the title.
