GTA 6 publisher comments on lack of news about PC version – Rockstar will make announcements in due course

The highly anticipated GTA 6 is set to release next year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Unfortunately, Rockstar has not made any official announcements regarding a PC version.

Now publisher Take-Two has offered additional insight into the absence of updates regarding the PC version of GTA 6, assuring that Rockstar will reveal more information in the near future.

During an interview at the TD Cowen conference, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick shared his insights:

It seems that no announcement is not a permanent state, as there is always the possibility of an announcement or the continuation of no announcement. It appears that these decisions are not set in stone.

It sounds professional.

Zelnick further stated that Rockstar has experience with platforms and will provide more updates in the future. The Take-Two CEO believes in adopting a strategy that aligns with consumer behavior, stating:

Throughout its history, this company has expertly connected with consumers across various platforms, adapting to their needs and preferences.

It’s not surprising that Rockstar has yet to release any news about their games for PC. They have a reputation for prioritizing console releases over PC, so this lack of information is par for the course. Indeed, Grand Theft Auto 5 first debuted on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013, and later arrived on PC in 2015.

Regarding the console release of GTA 6, Take-Two has expressed confidence in launching the game in fall 2025. According to Zelnick, delays are a common occurrence in the industry, and Take-Two is not exempt from them. However, he is confident that GTA 6 will not be affected by any such delays.
