Achievement “Gerasim”

Achievement “Blood for Blood”

You can take any route, but it’s important that you don’t have all the evidence by the time you speak with Officer Tikhonov. The evidence includes: the mitten, the report about the Master of the Forest (cassette), Semyon’s ring, and Katya’s braid.
Sherlock Achievement
- Description : Collected evidence.
Conversely, you need to collect all the clues. And to collect these clues and get Anton to call Tikhonov, you need to find a number of other items. So, in the first episode, take the note with the number from the refrigerator after your mother leaves, pick up the mitten in the forest, and tune the TV. At the beginning of the second episode, get the chewing gum from Lisa , and when the policeman arrives, open the folder twice without making any mistakes to get Semyon’s ring. Go outside to Alisa, not Polina, and draw the correct composite sketch of the man with the cleft lip, finding him three times in this episode. If you previously chose Alisa and took the gum, a game of rock-paper-scissors will begin—save and win to get the Polaroid. When Polina calls, choose the Voltron drawing (Romka’s route). Achievement “Starry Wormwood”

It’s important to follow Polina’s route, even though you can pick up the cross along Alisa/Romka’s route. Romka shouldn’t be in the party, and that’s exactly what will happen along Polina’s route. Kill Zhulka, let the guests in (only Polina will show up), pick up the cross (leaving the amulet behind), feed the animals some dog meat, and soon you’ll find yourself in the forest, where you’ll have a choice. Pray until the very end.
Achievement “Hell’s Picnic” (duplicate path with amulet)
- Description : You have been eaten.
It’s the same as with the amulet, if you take it and then leave it in the forest. But here you need to run, not pray, like for the “Starry Wormwood” achievement.
Achievement “Family”
- Description : You pulled Olya out.
You must follow Romka and Alisa’s path, meaning that when you let the guests into the house, both Polina and Romka must enter. It’s also important to kill Zhulka to buy off the animals with dog meat. Only then, when you run through the forest, will you have a choice between rescuing Olya or Polina. Choose Olya to earn the achievement. This is the best decision, as Romka will always try to save Polina, and she will survive regardless of your help. Olya, however, is guaranteed to die.
Achievement “Love”
- Description : You pulled out Polina.
This option requires you to follow Romka and Alisa’s route: both Polina and Romka must enter the house when the guests are welcomed. You must also kill Zhulka beforehand to buy off the animals with dog meat. Only in this scenario will a crucial choice arise during the escape through the forest: who to try to save, Olya or Polina. To earn the achievement, you must choose Polina. In this case, Olya dies and Polina survives, and this outcome is counted as the achievement’s requirement.
Achievement “Without prying eyes”
- Description : Being a bodyguard is not your thing.
You need to follow the path to the best ending, but far, far away. In the third episode of the game, you need to portray any character for Tikhonov, but not the correct composite sketch of Harelip. It’s important to have all the clues, and also to save Polina, not Olya, in the previous choice. In other words, you should follow Romka/Alisa’s path throughout. The whole point is that your only mistake is the incorrect composite sketch of Harelip. The game ends there.
Achievement “The Fading Light”
- Description : You are a useless brother.
You need to follow the path to the best ending, but far, far away. In the third episode of the game, you need to portray any character for Tikhonov, but not the correct composite sketch of Harelip. It’s important to have all the clues, and also to save Olya, not Polina, in the previous choice. In other words, you should follow Romka/Alisa’s path throughout. You need to save Olya. Once in the police UAZ, put on the mask. The difference with the previous choice is that you need to save Olya, which means both Anton and his sister will be in the UAZ. Ultimately, the boys will still die because Anton used the mask.
Achievement “The Last Push”
- Description : You tried to escape with Polina.
You need to follow Alice and Romka’s route throughout the game. You need to save Polina. When you get into the police UAZ, don’t put on the mask. The difference with the previous choice is that you need to save Polina, then only Anton will be in the UAZ. At a crucial moment, you must save Olya. Once in the police UAZ, don’t put on the mask, and then, when prompted, accept the mask offered by the Master of the Forest (Goat). Ultimately, you’ll save yourself and Olya, find yourself in your father’s car, and pick up Polina along the way—hugging her isn’t required for this achievement.
Episode 5 – Additional Achievements
True Detective 5 achievement
Description : You have examined all objects in Episode 5.
Before you begin the walkthrough, it’s important to keep several things in mind. It’s best to double-click each interactive object instead of just once. Furthermore, you must collect every clue without exception and always interact with the killer whenever possible. Missing even one element or inspecting it incorrectly may invalidate the achievement, even if everything appears correct visually.
Episode 1
In the first episode, once you’re in the hallway, carefully examine all available objects. You need to double-click on the phone, the cross, the spinning top, and the utility room door. After that, head to the kitchen, but don’t lie to your mom right away—it’s important to examine your surroundings first. Pay attention to the calendar, radio, and newspaper, then be sure to examine the piece of paper with Tikhonov’s number attached to the refrigerator, and then look inside the refrigerator itself.
Only then can you choose the option of deceiving your mother. Take Tikhonov’s number from the refrigerator—it will be the first clue, then go through all the items in the kitchen again. Then take Vova’s mitten—it counts as the second clue.
Next, move to Anton’s room. Here, you’ll need to examine the curtains twice, the drawings on the wall, the toys on the shelf, and the magazine on the nightstand. After that, look in Olya’s room: interact with the piggy bank, the teddy bear, and the window. Once you’ve completed your search, tune the TV—in the process, you’ll receive a tape, which will become the third piece of evidence.
Episode 2
In the second episode, first take Alice’s candy. Then, while near the school, examine all the key objects: the Volga car, the seniors at the entrance, the suspicious man (it’s the maniac), and the nest in the tree. After that, be sure to confront Semyon.
Before choosing between Alice and Polina, take your time—first, carefully examine the bag, the paper airplane, and the bucket of water. Only then choose Alice.
Behind the school, near the hanged man, it’s crucial to follow a strict order when examining the achievement. First, look for the syringes in the snow, then the man around the corner, then the squirrel in the tree, and only finally, the wall with the hanged man. If you click on the wall immediately, the other objects will become inaccessible, leading you to mistakenly believe the achievement is bugged.
After the scene, send Semyon away. Next, when Byasha and Roma are leading you through the forest without glasses, a man will appear—be sure to click on him. He’ll come closer and then leave, and this action also counts.
Episode 3
In the third episode, while in the classroom, examine the firecrackers, the writer’s portrait, and the projector. Afterward, Tikhonov will enter the classroom—at this point, you’ll need to steal Semyon’s glove, which will become the fourth clue. Next, you’ll need to draw a maniac—if you’re having trouble, it’s best to look up exactly what he should look like online beforehand.
Next, you need to win the Polaroid from Roma. It’s highly recommended to save beforehand to avoid replaying the entire episode. The author completed the minigames by beating Olya in “Ducks,” but the specific opponent isn’t critical here.

Select the garage. Inside, carefully examine the vice, the top shelf, the tools, the boxes, the junk, and the car. During Katya’s rescue scene, be sure to disable fast-forwarding. Otherwise, the game may not count the rescue attempt, and Anton won’t take a photo of Katya’s scythe.
After successfully saving her, Anton takes a Polaroid photo of Katya’s braid—this is the fifth clue. Then, refuse Alice’s candy twice in a row.
Episode 5
In the fifth episode, you need to kill Zhulka and then choose Katya. In her house, carefully examine the tape recorder, the awards, the mirror, the Barbie doll house , and the aquarium, making sure to feed the fish. Afterwards, Anton goes to bed with Katya.
If you’ve already explored Polina’s house and the police station by this point, take the pills. This will lead to the “Coma Escaped” ending. If the achievement doesn’t count, load up the game to choose between Polina and Roma in Episode 3 and choose Polina.
In Polina’s house, examine the telephone, her grandfather’s room, the skis, the portrait of Paganini, the horns, and the mirror. In her private room, interact with the record player, the piano, and the Sailor Moon poster. Afterwards, simply scroll through the game to the “Schoolboy Killer” ending.
Then load your save with the “To the police or to the garage” option selected and head to the police station. At the police station, examine the gas mask and the monkey house, then play through Episode 5 to any ending—it doesn’t matter, as you’re still missing evidence. This is only necessary for the item views to count.
After that, load the save of the fifth episode with Katya and take the pills again – the achievement should unlock.
If the achievement still doesn’t count after all these steps, you’ll have to start the game from the beginning and repeat this guide, but without revisiting the police station and Polina’s house, as they will count as having been visited before. This process can be tedious—the guide’s author spent several days on it—but the achievement isn’t bugged; the conditions for earning it are simply extremely unclear.
Achievement “Zhulka vs.”

You can follow any branch, but most importantly, you can’t kill Zhulka with the axe. In that case, when you have the choice of what to give to the animals (although in the Bunny branch, letting the guest in will kill you immediately), try clicking on Zhulka while she’s still alive. She’ll growl and run away, and you’ll earn an achievement.
Achievement “Aquaman!”
- Description : You fed the fish.
You can follow any path except the Bunny/Lonely One, but the main thing is to avoid accepting treats from the animals at the end of Episode 4. Then, in Episode 5, take Katya home instead of Polina. In Katya’s house, in her room, be sure to examine the aquarium on the left wall.
