The Virtual University of Pakistan has a Federal Charter, which means that its degrees are recognized and acknowledged within the country and abroad.

Over a hundred cities have benefited from Virtual University outreach.

The University opened its virtual doors in 2002, and in a short period of time, its reach has touched over a hundred locations across the country, with over a hundred and ninety affiliated institutions offering infrastructure assistance to students. Pakistani students from other countries in the region are also enrolled in the University’s programs.
