The engine allows the game to run on Windows, macOS and Linux, so there should be no problems playing on Steam Deck.
After five years of development, the Openblack engine version 0.1.0 was released, which allows you to run the god simulator Black and White on modern PCs. This is not a full launch of the project and the developers immediately noted that there may be certain problems that they intend to fix.
Openblack is built in C++, supports the cross-platform Vulkan API, and runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Experimental support for iOS and Android is also announced.
You won’t be able to get Black and White up and running straight away by simply installing Openblack, you’ll need to do a bit of fiddling around with transferring the game files into the engine first, as is the case with Morrowind and OpenMW.
