We are counting down the days for the iPhone 16. If Apple does not determine a different strategy, the series will be introduced with 4 models in September. There is very little time left and the phones need to be on the production line. Naturally, this means that leaks will emerge for the new models. Previously, information about product pages, colors and designs had also come. Now the iPhone 16 camera features have emerged.
iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus to Come with Dual Camera
According to the news leaked by Appleinsider, the basic and Plus models of the new smartphones will have vertically positioned 48 MP rear cameras.
One of these cameras will be a wide-angle camera offering up to 2x zoom, while the other will be an ultra-wide-angle camera offering 5x .
In addition to the 2x telephoto feature on the main camera , we will see an f/1.6 aperture range. The second camera will offer an f/2.2 aperture range and the lens will be able to shoot macro. Reducing the aperture value to f/2.2 on the second camera will also improve low-light performance as it will provide more light. At least that’s the expectation.
Both models will also offer JPEG-XL image format support . This new format will provide higher quality and smaller size
iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max Will Have the Most Ambitious Camera
The main camera that will attract attention will be the Pro models. There will be 3 cameras in both models in the series. One of them will be a telephoto camera, one will be an ultra-wide angle camera and one will be a direct wide angle camera.
The main camera is not changing. Our 48 MP camera with f/1.78 aperture remains in place. We should also note that this main camera can shoot 12 MP telephoto with 2x optical quality . Again, this will affect the image quality.
Both models will have a 12 MP f/2.8 aperture 5x telephoto lens. There is no big change here either. It’s just that the standard Pro model will now also have a 5x telephoto .
In the main camera section, we will see a 48 MP camera that can shoot 12 MP telephoto with 2x optical quality . So there is no change in the main camera. The aperture value is also at f / 1.6.
Finally, the third camera will be a 48 MP ultra-wide angle camera . The 48 MP camera will also allow ProRaw shooting and will feature an additional update for low light.
The most striking part of the Pro models will be 3K 120 FPS video support along with Dolby Vision support.
This information that emerged for the iPhone 16 camera features shows that Apple will try to stand out by making changes in key areas again. We will try this after the introduction if there will be a different software advantage in terms of shooting in the cameras.
